Davis Series AF Keyway Cutter -11mm

Series AF Cutters are engineered for the higher speeds and feeds demanded by automatic cutting. The right combination of Rake, Relief, and Face Relief, angles results in faster cutting and better finishes. Series AF and AFS Cutters can also be used in all Davis Keyseaters. Note: Some AF and AFS Cutters must be altered to fit Model 5 Keyseaters (Up to Serial Number 5-1363) at an additional cost of $175.00. Please call to check compatibility. All Model 5 machines (Serial No. 5-1364 and higher) will accept AF and AFS Cutter without alteration.

Series AF Cutters are designed with side clearance, a 10 degree rake angle and a relief angle for the higher speeds and feeds demanded by automatic cutting. They are accurately hardened and ground to provide optimum cutting efficiency and better finishes. 

All standard Cutters are ground to .0005" to .0015" larger than the standard Keyway size.
